A Proposed Strategic Map to Develop Strategic Performance in Yemeni Public Universities

Abstract

The research aimed to prepare a proposed strategic map for the development of strategic performance in Yemeni public universities, by identifying the level of practice of administrative performance and academic performance.  It also aimed at identifying the factors of strength, weakness, opportunities and challenges in Yemeni public universities. To achieve this, the descriptive approach was used in its two types: analytical and developmental, the proposed map was judged according to the modified Delphi method. the modified Delphi method. The questionnaire was distributed to an intentional sample consisting of (13) experts. The research reached a number of results, the most important of which are: The indicators of environmental analysis of strategic performance in Yemeni public universities came according to the following: indicators of the external environment analysis results were (22) indicators, while the indicators of the internal environment were (45) indicators.  The strategic map was prepared with its four dimensions (the beneficiaries dimension - the financial dimension - the internal operations dimension - the development and growth dimension) after setting a vision, mission, values, goals, and strategic goals to develop strategic performance in Yemeni public universities.  A number of recommendations were put accordingly.
