Abstract: The Research aimed at determine the identity (nature) of the philosophical dimension, and the general divisions of the philosophy of Muhammad Eqbal. A brief methodology, three axes and a conclusion. The first axis was devoted to explaining the sources of Muhammad Eqbal's philosophy and the influences of his personality, and the second was devoted to revealing the philosophical dimension in Eqbal's religious thought, while the third axis dealt with the general features of Eqbal's philosophy. As for the conclusion, it reached many results, the most important of which were: The thinker Eqbal has a philosophy he is known for, which is self- philosophy, as he believes that the religious and moral goal of man is to affirm the self and not to negate it. As noted in Eqbal's philosophy is characterized by moral and spiritual tendency,This philosopher and his philosophical efforts represent a continuation of the discussion of those European thinkers about the relationship between philosophy and religion, the relationship between science and religion, and the place of religion in modern science.
