The Indication of Intonation and Typography in Explanation

Abstract

The study aimed to display the explanatory meaning isn the Quraaninc performance and Ottoman typography, through rooting rules proved by practical Quraaninc samples. These rules and samples participated in displaying the spiritual indicative values of the most important phenomenon of the Quraaninc intonations and Ottoman typography.


The research depended on the inductive and analytic approachs, which are both of the descriptive approach forms.


The study contained three chapters; the first chapter was an introduction explains the concepts of the research as well as the rooting rules on which the Qur'anic samples are built. The second chapter has three intonations phenomenon in the Holy Quran and their indication upon the meaning, this supports the agreed rooting rule and the Qur'anic samples. These phenomenon are; intonation, readings, and inking, chanting Quran. The third chapter tends to the Ottoman typography and its indication on the meaning, and explains the scholars' trends in justifying the typographical phenomena.


The study has brought up a number of results, most important of which are; the intonation and form of the word are means of explanation which should not be neglected for they indicatively help in displaying and clarifying the meaning. Furthermore, the ancient scholars, especially language and reading scholars, has rooting rules in this field, thus they had the honor of rooting, as well as the modern scholars have the honor of modernizing the intonation and satire sciences of the holy book. In addition, the study emphasizes that the Ottoman typography has a lot of wisdom and secrets that a researcher cannot deny, and that the writers of Quran, peace be upon them, were skillful in writing, they knew what should and what shouldn't be written, but they have altered some of the rules for a wisdom. The study also displayed that trends of scholars in justifying typography phenomenon complete each other, which makes it an addition to the students of this care worthy field.
